November 1, 2012Happy All Hallow’s Eve

Tonight we dressed in costumes and went door to door collecting goodies. Monkey was Spiderman, Sweetpea was a zebra and Teddy stayed home with Papa.

There aren’t many children in our area so people were very generous with what they gave. We came home with heavy bags. The children sorted their candy and were each allowed to keep a small stash. The rest of the candy will be rationed over the next months or donated to a soup kitchen.

Now that the excitement of the day is over I’m taking the time to relax a little. Tomorrow will be another day of excitement and celebration since it will be All Saints Day.
